At the 4 day Classic Show at Cleveland, Ohio, Sh Ch Gentiana Golden Prince took lst and Gentiana Golden Topaz was placed 2nd in their respective classes. (15th and 17th Dec 2011.) Well done Cindy.
We were delighted to hear that Gentiana Golden Topaz (Carys) and Sh Ch Gentiana Golden Prince (Tegan) both took lst in their classes on 15th & 16th October 2011 at the AKC Show in Urbana, Ohio.
Congratulations to Cindy & Tony on the achievements of their two dogs on 7th October, 2011. Sh Ch Gentiana Golden Prince and Gentiana Golden Topaz both took lst place in their respective classes at the Golden Retriever Club Show of Greater Toledo, Ohio (A.K.C.)
Dual Int. Sh Ch Gentiana Golden Prince (Tegan) was Best of Champions and Best of Breed at Montpelier, Ohio, USA on 3rd July, 2011. We are proud to announce that Tegan (Int Sh Champion Gentiana Golden Prince) is now a dual champion. This was awarded on the 22nd April, 2011.
We were delighted to hear that Carys (Gentiana Golden Topaz) took lst in Senior Puppy & BOB at Ravenna, Ohio, USA on 21st May 2011. Congratulations to Int Ch Gentiana Golden Prince who took BOB at Wapakonetta, Ohio, on 22nd April 2011. At the same venue, but with 2 separate shows, Quinn, Gentiana Golden A.ce won Senior Puppy Best Male and Reserve BOB. Well done to Winston (Gartraith Dreamkeeper at Gentiana) who achieved H.C. in Veteran Class at NWGR Championship Show on 17th April, 2011. We were pleased that Tammy (Gentiana Golden Fortune) took BOB at Penrith Open Show on 9th April, 2011.
Congratulations to Int Ch Gentiana Golden Prince on his following achievements at Michigan on 19th September 2010 :- lst adult male 3 yrs & over, 1st Best of all class winners, Best male / female. Tegan now has points towards his 2nd Championship title. Well done to Carys (Gentiana Golden Topaz) on gaining lst in Junior Puppy, also at Michigan on the 19th Sept and also Best Female in Breed at Ravenna, Ohio on 11th Sept. 2010. Confirmation has now been received from The United States of America of Tegan's International Championship Title. He is now officially International Champion Gentiana Golden Prince. He is out of Abnalls Summer Dawn for Gentiana x Ch Mitcharron Memphis Laird.  Gentiana Golden Fortune (Tammy) - was placed 3rd in Puppy class at Blackpool Championship Show on Saturday 26th June 2010, and QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS. She is out of Rosie (Gentiana Golden Primrose) x Alexander. Congratulations to Gentiana Golden Topaz - Carys on taking 2nd place in the 12 to 18 months class, and to Int. Ch Gentiana Golden Prince - Tegan on 2nd place in male breed class, at the AKC show (Lorain County Kennel Club) on 16th August, 2010. Gentiana Golden Fortune (Tammy) took 1st place in Breed Puppy class and BPIB at Garstang Agricultural Show on 7th August, 2010.

Having been brought up with Gundogs, our first Golden Retriever - Major - was a direct son of Sh Ch Jobeka Jasper of Nortonwood who came to us from Otterscroft Golden Retrievers in January, 1990. From that day forward we have adored this wonderful, biddable, amazing breed.
Major - Otterscroft Gruinard Our next Golden - Tara - was a niece of Major and came to us three years later from Beamsley Golden Retrievers. The two of them were firm friends and went everywhere together. Then....... along came Winston (Gartraith Dreamkeeper at Gentiana)

All of our dogs live with us in the house, are first and foremost our loving campanions and the puppies we breed are reared in our home. Stud dogs are chosen very carefully to enhance our line with temperament being paramount. All of our dogs show and over the years we have made some wonderful life-long friends. We have three wonderful dogs in Ohio, USA who are all doing extremely well in the show ring with Tegan ( Int Dual Sh Ch Gentiana Golden Prince) who now has two championships titles. Well done to Cindy and Tony for campaigning this superb dog.

Our Affix is derived from our very pretty Genny - Gartraith Gentian Image at Gentiana. Genny was born in the Spring at the same time as the Gentian flower blooms in the Alps. Genny is now Veteran Dog of the Year 2011 - show held 3rd Jan 2012, a title she holds for the next 12 months

We were very happy to be able to acquire our two lovely foundation girls. Out of Clementina (Abnalls Summer Dawn for Gentiana,) we have Rosie (Gentiana Golden Primrose) and out of Rosie we have Tammy (Gentiana Golden Fortune.) Out of Shiana (Mitcharron Memphis Mist for Gentiana ) we have Violet who reared a beautiful litter of 3 puppies by Sh Ch Telkaro First Look JW ShCM

Winston - Gartraith Dreamkeeper at Gentiana He loves the show ring and is doing very well as a veteran. He achieved VHC at the North West Golden Retriever Championship Show in April 2011 and Best Veteran and RBIS in December 2011 at Lancaster & District Canine Soc Show.
